A very loyal blog reader actually forwarded me the blog post about the launch party for the new Liberty fabric line, as if we would have considered missing such an event. I actually remember going to Liberty of London as a child, and of course any excuse for fabric shopping is much appreciated around here. We stayed so late that all of the little cafes around were closed and we landed up having a rather impromptu picnic dinner of $1 pizza slices on the corner of Canal Street. At least Lila’s mother came prepared with fruit to complete the meal:
