Although his first appearance on the blog may be brief, we are looking forward to meeting up with Charlie all around the world. After all, his mama came all the way to Copenhagen to hang out with us circa August 2009 and Milo and the bump spent many happy hours hanging out together in Karachi. So it seems fitting that when his mama e-mailed to say Charlie would be visiting NYC for the first time last week, rather than heading out to his grandparents’ house to meet him or inviting him over to ours, we chose the much more scenic Central Park for a playdate:

And thanks Albert for managing the excellent trifecta of buying my kids ice cream, chasing them around the park, and taking photos at the same time.
