A word of advice about taking your babies out to a late dinner

Dress them up as nicely as possible.  It helps to distract the host while they try to decide whether you seriously plan to take a 2.5 year old and 4 month old out to dinner (it turns out that New York restaurants are much more accustomed to mini-patrons than the rest of the world.  Our lovely Toronto restaurant had to send our waiter across the street to borrow a high chair from another restaurant).  Also, make sure to take advantage of lovely nature light in your clean hotel room.  With no further ado, our pre-dinner photos with a tremendous thanks to Emily for the hand knit absolutely adorable red sweater.
