Karachi Day 1: A little sightseeing, a little shopping

A very important historical mural.  Sorry, don’t ask me any details.  I was trying to keep Milo away from the pigeons.

Admiring the mural:

The ceiling mural:

“Oh, hello Christopher.  Do you want to chase the pigeons with me?”:

A little shopping:

We were incredibly lucky to stay with good friends of the bride.  Our host not only had a room set up for Milo, but she helped to prepare incredibly delicious roti for us:

And Milo thoroughly enjoyed playing with Atik the driver while I was getting ready to go out every evening (Atik has a 2 year old daughter).

(For those who are wondering, since it was only a week-long trip I decided to pack all of Milo’s food.  He had jars of organic baby food, applesauce, cheerios, baby puffs, instant oatmeal and a few bites of nan).
