Road trip!

On Christmas Day Milo and I took a road trip North to Boston.  Along the way we stopped and visited Karin, but sadly took no photos.  I had planned to bring a large camera but the only lense we had out on Long Island literally broke into pieces on Christmas Eve so the options were limited.  We have a photo on our wall of Talia fast asleep in this very bed.  Milo loves books, and really appreciated all of the extra attention during our trip:

We went to dinner at Wahlburgers and Stephanie and Samantha and I did a little shopping afterwards.  Least subtle jewelry heist ever:

Still short …

Equally sneaky hiding spot:

But then again, what was he supposed to do while we shopped?  The store had slim pickings in his size:

Kicking back with the paper:

Milo did much better thriftstore shopping:

Although he was not  allowed to play with our coolest find (from Boomerang in Jamaica Plain), a 1966 pristine condition dollhouse complete with mid-century modern furniture:

And then very sadly we had to leave Nadine and Terry and Stephanie and Samantha, but luckily we were able to pick Emma up and give her a ride back to NYC.  A very, very long drive full of plenty of fun detours … thrift stores, shopping, bookstores, even a little craigslist adventure, the usual …:

Just to clarify, Milo insisted:

Coffee, and then back to NYC:

And even after all of that, someone sang in the to himself in the backseat of the car until almost 11 pm.
