In late May we boarded a boat

crossed a wide ocean

IMG_0040and headed to a distant land with verdant forests and empty beaches …

and we saw all the sights despite the non-stop rain and chilly temperature (and fortified by wool blankets borrowed from the bride’s family).  The famous cliffs of Martha’s Vineyard as very few people have seen them:
