Richmond, VA

We stopped in Richmond on our drive to Bald Head and liked it so much that we went back for the weekend of July 4th. We had no agenda other than sample the local fare and enjoy the hotel swimming pool. And we definitely succeeded, plus a hike around Marymont park, the Art Museum, the Science Museum, and a lovely childrens bookstore.

The Science Museum is located in the old train station. And Milo loves trains.

And with all the wedding brochures and neatly arranged white chairs and artfully placed canopies it’s no wonder Talia thought of weddings …

Milo was happy to serve as ring bearer with one caveat. “I keep ring” he announced loudly and clearly despite Talia’s protests.
